Local housebuilder, Crest Nicholson South, has donated to the annual Saville Road Street Party in Twickenham. The party took place on Saturday 21st July and raised £250 for Shooting Star CHASE, a children’s hospice service supporting western London, Surrey and West Sussex. The street party aims to build community relations and sees residents participating in a range of fun activities including a cricket match as well as enjoying a BBQ and performances by a band. Chris Ctori, who organises the annual event, commented: “We’ve been holding a street party every year bar two since the Golden Jubilee in 2002. It’s a great way to get the community together and have an afternoon and evening of fun together while also benefiting a very good cause, Shooting Stars CHASE. We’re extremely grateful to Crest Nicholson for supporting us as it’s a really important part of our community calendar and has also helped us raise a great sum for charity.”
Christine Tiernan, Sales and Marketing Direct, Crest Nicholson South, comments: “We were delighted to support the Saville Road Street Party. We strive to have a positive impact on the communities surrounding our developments and the community around our Beaumont House development is no exception. We’re also delighted to support such a worthy cause and hope the money raised will really make a difference to Shooting Star CHASE.”
