National regeneration specialist, Crest Nicholson, has released the first new homes for sale in its ‘Trinity’ building – the last building to open its doors in the Lower Parkside phase at Park Central.
The newly released homes at Park Central are all two bedroom apartments, and boast contemporary fixtures and fittings, double bedrooms, designer kitchens and bathrooms in addition to spacious balconies – with views across eight acres of landscaped public parkland.
The release of these apartments comes as the National Housing Federation (NHF) announced that the demand for new homes appealing to the first time buyer market is far outstripping supply in the West Midlands.
According to the NHF, the region is currently building fewer than half of the new homes that are needed in order to meet demand. The organisation also claimed that new homes in the West Midlands cost nine times the average income of people living and working in the region.
The stylish new apartments in the Trinity building at Lower Parkside – the latest £15 million phase of Park Central – start in price from £144,000 for a two bedroom contemporary property. However, under Crest Nicholson’s ‘EasyBuy’ scheme, the same apartment can be purchased for just £122,400, as Crest Nicholson provides an equity loan of 15 per cent, meaning that buyers need to secure a mortgage of just 80 per cent of the property’s value, and pay a five per cent deposit.
Ruth Williams, sales manager at Park Central said: “The new apartments in our Trinity building offer the very best in city living, whilst overlooking eight acres of peaceful landscaped parkland – perfect for jogging and playing sports with friends.
“The luxury apartments feature contemporary open-plan living spaces leading out onto spacious balconies – perfect for entertaining – and have a direct appeal to first time buyers, who make up more than 70 per cent of our visitors each month. Additionally, househunters can buy one of the new homes with a deposit of as little as £7,200, through the EasyBuy scheme at Park Central.”
Located just a short walk away from the Bullring and the many bars and restaurants in Birmingham city centre, Park Central offers the ideal location for first time buyers wanting to experience city centre living whilst enjoying a peaceful place to relax.
To view the new apartments, visitors are encouraged to pre-book an appointment with the sales team by calling 0121 666 4666. For more information on the development visit the marketing suite, which is open daily from 10am to 5pm and is located at Park Central, Spring Street, Birmingham B15 2GD.
