New Sculpture blooms at Monksmoor Park

A new sculpture has been unveiled at the heart of Crest Nicholson’s Monksmoor Park development in Daventry.

The four metre high bouquet of daisies was specially designed by award-winning artist Martin Heron and is the first of many public artworks planned to enhance the development for residents and visitors.

Martin Heron is well-known for his public artwork and more recently for producing site-specific sculptures for public realm and corporate spaces on an international level. Martin specifically designs pieces relevant to a location to help local people engage with his work. This statue of a bouquet of daisies has been planted in the heart of Crest Nicholson’s Monksmoor Park open space area and has been designed to reflect the development's garden village vision of combining traditionally design ed properties with an informal, natural environment.

Amanda Benjamin, Sales & Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “We’re really excited that the first of our planned art installations has officially been unveiled. We are committed to making Monksmoor Park visually attractive and welcoming for our residents and visitors, and this new addition is a great centre piece for our open space area.”

Monksmoor Park is located close to a number of local amenities including Daventry town centre as well as within easy access to a number of excellent transport links. Surrounded by open countryside and panoramic views it offers the perfect opportunity for residents to enjoy the best of town and country living.
