Crest Nicholson unveils new play park at Waterside’s Christmas light switch-on

Crest Nicholson unveils new play park at Waterside’s Christmas light switch-on

Christmas came early for the residents of Waterside at Monksmoor Park, Daventry, as Crest Nicholson opened a new play park during the development’s annual Christmas light switch-on.

The new play park at Waterside reflects Crest Nicholson’s ongoing investment in the new community at Monksmoor Park. The park is located at the centre of Waterside, a welcome addition for the families with young children after the opening of a play park at Meadowside earlier this year.

Residents at Monksmoor Park attended the official opening ceremony and Christmas tree light switch-on, which took place on Saturday 2nd December. The event saw Kerri Grice, Sales Advisor at Monksmoor Park, switch on the lights of the 12ft tree, and included a candy hunt around the park for children. Mince pies and hot chocolate were also aplenty making this a magical afternoon for the whole family.

Crest Nicholson is investing over £11 million in the local Daventry community as part of a comprehensive ‘community benefits package’, which also outlines the delivery of a range of services and amenities aimed at benefitting the local community.

David Hnyda, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “It was great to welcome the local Monksmoor Park community to Waterside for the Christmas light switch-on and opening of the new play park. Christmas is always a time for people to come together, and it’s great to see the strong sense of community emerging at Waterside.

“Facilities like the play area are integral to the community, and are crucial in the creation of a place that families can call a home.”

Just a handful of three-bedroom homes now remain at Waterside, this popular phase of Monksmoor Park. These homes are perfect for both first-time buyers and second steppers looking to gain some extra space. Situated beside the Grand Union Canal, homes at Waterside are nestled amongst an abundance of open space with far reaching views over the stunning Northamptonshire countryside.

Three bedroom houses are available at Waterside from £269,950 or just £215,960 using the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. To find out more about Waterside at Monksmoor Park, call 01327 368722 or visit https://www.crestnicholson.com/waterside
