Longcross Garden Village

In brief

  • 1500 new homes
  • Business Park
  • Primary School
  • A new Village Centre
  • Health Centre
  • Community Centre

A flagship example of Crest Nicholson’s ability to enter into complex and flexible deal structures to ensure timely delivery of this site

Longcross is a 300 acre former Defence Evaluation and Research Agency site abutting the Wentworth Golf Course and straddling the M3 near Virginia Water, Surrey.

The site was acquired by Crest Nicholson in 2005 in conjunction with Aviva and offered a unique opportunity to create a new Surrey Garden Village. It is now announced by Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government as one of fourteen new towns. As well as delivering 1,500 much needed homes, it will also encompass a new Business Park comprising 1m sqft of commercial space.

The development will provide a high value backbone site to both our Regeneration and Southern housebuilding divisions, as well as third party developers. Longross is a challenging site to deliver, yet our in house technical teams have successfully overcome various challenges to deliver a scheme of the highest quality.
