Situated between Crawley and Horsham in Sussex, Kilnwood Vale is a new 132 hectare development which will provide 2,500 new homes and supporting infrastructure for a thriving new, mixed use neighbourhood.
Kilnwood Vale was successfully promoted through the planning system by CSP, and outline planning permission for 2,500 units, along with the supporting district centre and community infrastructure was secured in October 2011.
Kilnwood Vale is a working example of Crest Nicholson promoting a site through a local plan process, securing outline and detailed permissions, managing the discharging of conditions and progressing through to construction.
The site is one of a series of new significant sites that have commenced in the last few years, and is a primary example of Crest’s ability to turn technical constraints into opportunities. Our in-house technical team have been able to effectively project manage the remediation of a former landfill site and turn the site into a high quality, developable area.
