    (c) Ensuring that the Groundworks Contractor is in possession of the correct up to date drawings.

    Principle Key Result Areas:

    To obtain suitably qualified reservations at prices and within target dates determined by the Sales & Marketing Director.

    To ensure that only accurate information, which has been authorised by the Sales & Marketing Director, is given to purchasers and prospective purchasers.

    To ensure maximum co-operation from purchasers and in conjunction with the Sales Manager, minimise the time taken from reservation to legal completion.

    In liaison with the Sales Manager, to assist purchasers in making their choices when these are offered.

    To maintain and keep updated a Sales Information Kit relating to their development, which shall include accurate product and price information on the properties being offered for sale on their development.

    To ensure that at all times the presentation of the show home complex and stock units are maintained in accordance with Company policies and standards and that the development is well sign-posted.

    To update, on a weekly basis, competitor information and to assist in the analysis and pricing of the Company’s products as required by the Sales & Marketing Director. Also to carry out market research projects as instructed by the Sales & Marketing Director.

    To be responsible for the opening and closing of the show home complex in accordance with Company requirements, giving particular emphasis to security and advising the Sales & Marketing Director of any defects.

    Crest Nicholson are currently looking for a Production Director to join our London region, covering sites in the City as well as some in the Home Counties. Because of future site locations, you will ideally be based within easy commute of South/South West London, although other areas will of course be considered.

    We are looking for a Build focused individual, ideally with Build or Project Management background, but it is paramount that you have experience across Commercial and Technical also.

    In this role you will manage and develop the Production Department, co-ordinating the core functions, ensuring the delivery of schemes is completed on time, in budget and to Crest's high quality standards.

    You will be working across Build, Land, Technical and Commercial to ensure all legal policies and procedures are adhered to. As the Production Director you will have the overreaching responsibility to ensure a cost-effective, strategic and commercially sustainable approach is taken across the functions.

    You will be working to further increase the communication, collaboration and accountability both within, and across functions to ensure timelines, design plan, land requirements and build plan works in symbiosis, delivering the best financial stream for Crest, without compromising on health and safety or quality.

    Utilising your strong commercial knowledge and solid understanding of legal requirements and procedures, you will be involved in strategic decisions around land acquisitions, seeking and appealing planning permission, ensuring the land is fit for purpose and commercially viable.

    Following the process through pre-planning, production and completion, you will oversee the design plan, its transition to build plan, and managing the team at build phase to resolve issues, prevent delays and ensure the finished product can and is being delivered in correlation with the initial design, and in line with build and business plan.

    You will be reporting to the Board on costing and budgeting across the functions, explaining variances and any discrepancies are promptly highlighted and investigated. You will produce regional business forecasting, and ensuring delivery follows accordingly.

    To be successful within Crest Nicholson you will be expected to constantly work to improve our build patterns, suggesting any improvements or additions which could positively impact our staff, the end product and the build process as a whole.

    As this is a Director level role, we anticipate that you will have held a similar position in the past, ideally with a main house builder in the London or Home Counties area. We will need you to be technically strong, and although this is a purely managerial role, a solid understanding across the functions and their operations is essential.

    In addition to the above you will have experience managing teams of significant size (100+ is likely at any one time). You will have responsibilities across sites, so multi-site (10+) is also essential. In addition you must be IT savvy, as you will be working on and reviewing documentation and plans on our internal systems (Anaplan, Agresso etc.).

    This is a managerial role, but we are looking for someone whom is interested in, and has experience of the hands-on work in the individual functions. You must be a driven person whom is looking to make a positive impact, and drive for excellence and improvement across your role.

    In this role you will also be assisting the Land department in identifying, scoping out and securing land for further development. You will be involved in forecasting and budgeting, and maintaining a detailed understanding of the technical site and design requirements across the sites you are managing.

    It is paramount that you operate and control the sites strictly in accordance with the agreed Method Statement and Health and Safety Plan as required by the CDM Regulations.
