Laura Osborne, Sales Manager at Crest Nicholson South West, commented: “The most sustainable business is one that prospers and grows as part of every community within which it operates. Our vision for sustainable homes is part of our core purpose and sets us apart in our market. For Crest Nicholson, it means we put the customer at the heart of what we do. The Government continues to set the bar ever higher in terms of low carbon homes. We must deliver – and in a way that ensure all of our homeowners benefit from warm homes, and lower fuel costs.
“All apartments at The Moorings, for example, are designed to meet the independent assessment group, BRE's (Building Research Establishment) Eco Homes Very Good Standard. In addition, there is a communal cycle store and communal recycling facilities at the development, to help encourage residents to think about their waste and transport.”
The Moorings, which is only a short drive from Bristol, comprises nine luxury four bedroom villas, each of which comes with their own 35 foot mooring at the beautiful Marina. Eight of these stylish waterside properties, which are ideal for families and buyers who like to entertain, have already been snapped up. The development also consists of an eclectic seven storey building, which includes 31 contemporary two bedroom open-plan apartments, many of which have spectacular waterside views and private balconies or terraces.
The Junction is a small and exclusive development, which comprises just 22 stylish homes, including two bedroom apartments and coach houses and three bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes – perfect for first time buyers or those looking to start a family.
