One of the major towns in Somerset, Bridgwater is a historic market town that has grown into something more modern and exciting. The festive spirit of the town is something that attracts many to look for new homes in Bridgwater.

The Bridgwater Carnival is Europe’s largest illuminated carnival and is a thrilling event that takes place every year on Bonfire Night.

Transport in Bridgwater

Bridgwater is just off the M5, by both junctions 23 and 24, making trips to Bristol, Exeter or Taunton super easy. If you prefer travelling or commuting by train, the train station is just a short walk from the centre, and has links across all of Somerset, particularly to Bristol or Taunton. There’s also a number of bus routes which offer a more cost effective way to travel across the county. Bristol Airport is also only 30 miles away, making travel overseas for work or pleasure far more simple.
