Stephen Stone, Chief Executive of Crest Nicholson, commented: “The most sustainable business is one that prospers and grows as part of every community within which it operates. Our vision for sustainable homes is part of our core purpose and sets us apart in our market. For Crest Nicholson, it means we put the Customer at the heart of what we do. The Government continues to set the bar ever higher in terms of low carbon homes. We must deliver – and in a way that ensures all of our homeowners benefit from warm homes, and lower fuel costs.”
In addition to these achievements, Crest Nicholson remains committed to research and innovation for the long term benefit of its customers and when complete, Kings Warren will comprise 1,250 homes in addition to community facilities.
The newest phase of development at Kings Warren, Hunter’s Chase, is designed to appeal to a wide range of buyers, whether they are making their first steps onto the property ladder and are looking for a starter home, or are second or third time buyers, looking to upsize to a larger house in which to raise a family.
Homes all have large and flexible living areas with large windows and French doors leading to the gardens, which are designed to flood the rooms with natural light and help create a real sense of space. Buyers can choose from either open-plan or traditional layouts and a number of homes are arranged over three floors with a grand master suite, which boasts an ensuite bathroom, occupying the entire top floor.
Crest Nicholson has recently achieved planning consent for a new village centre at Kings Warren which will become the community’s focal point. The Village Centre will consist of six separate commercial units set within two buildings, comprising shops, financial/professional services, restaurants, cafes, pubs and offices as well as a crèche. The infrastructure of the development has been adapted to accommodate this with associated roads, footpaths, cycle ways, landscaped areas and loop road access to both the village centre and school via Warren Road.
As well as offering a peaceful and idyllic rural setting, an excellent road and rail infrastructure located close by means that residents are well connected. Kennet Station is located just three miles away and provides frequent and direct rail links to Cambridge in just 30 minutes. Alternatively, Cambridge city centre is just 18 miles by road and there is also easy access to the A11 and nearby A14.
Prices start at £134,500 for a two bedroom coach house and from £182,000 for a three bedroom house. For more information about Hunter’s Chase, please contact 0870 755 1632 or visit www.crestnicholson.com/kingswarren.
