Although it enjoys a countryside location, North Weald is deceptively close to London
and to several large Essex towns. With its excellent road and rail connections you
will never feel cut off from the world. North Weald High Road crosses under the
M11 and takes you straight into Epping. It’s a journey of about 2 miles and gives
you further choices of restaurants, bars and shops.
A night out in the capital is definitely achievable from Blenheim Square, and commuting
to the City or West End is equally viable. Within five miles of the development
there’s also the town of Harlow, a huge centre of employment, as well as offering
further amenities such as shopping, eating out and entertainment, along with the
multi screen cinema and Playhouse Theatre. Other towns in the vicinity include Bishops
Stortford, Chelmsford and Brentwood.
The nearest overground station is Harlow Town, about 5 miles from Blenheim Square,
with a journey time to London Liverpool Street of about 35 minutes.
Alternatively, Epping Station is just 3 miles from the development on the Central
Line, where the travel time to London Liverpool Street is about 35 minutes and Oxford
Circus about 50 minutes.
For those who drive, the M11 (junction 7) can be reached via the A414, which also
means that Stansted Airport is within easy reach, just 16 miles away. The M25 can
also be accessed via the M11, as well as London Docklands via the North Circular
in approximately 35 minutes drive.
