Welcome to our Sustainability Report for 2008.

Crest Nicholson designs and develops sustainable housing and mixed use communities. For us, sustainability is about successfully balancing environmental, social and economic considerations to improve people's quality of life.

In this, our seventh annual Sustainability Report, we report on how we have managed the most material issues we face as a housebuilder during our fiscal year 2008.

The report includes various case studies to illustrate how we put our approach into practice. And in the spirit of providing a full and open account of our performance, we also report on the progress we have made against the targets we set ourselves for the year.
