Include water butts in all new homes (where practicable, including communal gardens).

  • average dedicated lighting energy efficiency increased to 39% (FY07 25%); a quarter achieved the 75% target.
  • Average water efficiency of 138 l/p/d (153 l/p/d in FY07)
  • 18% with a water butt

Submitted for Planning FY08:

  • one third specified at 75% energy efficiency.
  • 100% of homes specified 105 l/p/d
  • 60%
