Crest Nicholson forged a partnership with the children's charity 'The Variety Club' in 2005. Since then fundraising activities have generated in excess of £277,000.
Over the years Crest Nicholson employees have shown great support and determination in raising money for The Variety Club by organising events such as sponsored bike rides from London to Paris, Christmas Balls and Mountain treks. Crest Nicholson suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders have also helped contribute toward this fundraising.
With the money that has been raised to date by the Group, the Variety Club has been able to purchase 11 Sunshine coaches for schools across the country. These famous coaches give disabled children access to educational and recreational trips that without these vehicles would not be possible.
Crest Nicholson is looking forward to fundraising on behalf of Variety Club for many years to come.
Much of the money that the Variety Club raises is used to fund small projects that make a big difference such as providing therapeutic play equipment, new clothing, bedding or helping with house adaptations.
